We are looking for experienced individuals to join our growing team. We are an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of supercharging systems for late model Corvettes and Camaros, and we specialize in late model GM LSx and LTx performance platforms at our top-notch installation facility.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individuals. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, hardworking and has a deep understanding of high-performance builds and concepts. LSX and LTX performance experience HIGHLY preferred.

***Shop Manager:

Candidate must be proficient and work efficiently to help the shop meet weekly, monthly and long-term goals. You must be a team player and work well with others.

Ideal Candidate:
• Reliable and responsible: we run a very tight install schedule and cannot afford unreliability that will complicate the schedule and our customers’ expectations.
• Attention to detail is a MUST. Shop manager is responsible for overseeing the installation of several of ECS’s power packages along with upgrades to currently installed packages. As we strive for an OEM style install on all our power packages that include but not limited to:
o -Bolt-On Upgrades.
o -Supercharging and Turbocharged Systems.
o -Heads and Cam Packages.
o -LSx and LTx short and long block assembly.
o -LSx and LTx valvetrain and cam geometry setup.
o -Installation of suspension and chassis upgrades.
o -Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
o -Familiar with proper motorsports wiring techniques.
o -Knowledge of aftermarket engine management systems and installation.
• Clean and organized individual that acts in a professional manner.
• Must be flexible and able to adjust to changing schedules (within reason)
• Must be familiar with late model GM platforms.
• Supercharging and/or forced induction experience a plus.
• Highly motivated and ambitious.
• Able to think on the go and under high stress situations.
• Experienced in road and drag racing setups.
-Must have excellent communication skills phone and email, excel, MS Word, Quickbooks.
-Good customer service skills to communicate with customers and keep them up to date.
-Be willing to grow, remember dress for the job you want not the job you have.

Responsibilities:
-Responsible for shop schedule working in conjunction with sales and parts dept.
-Managing the jobs once in the shop and getting them done as efficiently as possible while keeping with ECS quality standards.
-Manage long term shop projects and constantly striving to improve our procedures.
-Making sure ECS quality standards are kept throughout the whole job from schedule to delivery.
-Keeping customers up to date once in the car is in the shop and advise of any issues or additional work that may be recommended.
-Keep track of projects in the shop and update estimates if needed.
-Work with the tuning department to create the tuning and dyno schedule to get cars in and out efficiently.
-Help implement current and future ECS shop procedures.
-Work with shop foreman if any unforeseen issues arise in the shop and help solve them.
-Work with vendors and suppliers to make sure the shop has what they need to get the job done right.
-Be able to assist technicians if they have a question or need special parts ordered.

Qualifications or Requirements
• 5 years’ experience in automotive shop management or foreman.
• This is NOT an entry level position. Please be honest about your abilities and skills. We are looking for a good personality to go along with the skills.
• MUST have excellent phone and email communication skills both internal and to customers.
• A valid driver’s license and own personal car for transportation to work.
• Knowledge of GM diagnostic and programing software a plus
• General LSx and forced induction knowledge.
-Inventory control knowledge a plus.

***Technician:

Ideal Candidate:
• Reliable and responsible: we run a very tight install schedule and cannot afford unreliability that will complicate the schedule and our customers’ expectations.
• Attention to detail is a MUST. Technician will be responsible for professionally installing several of ECS’s power packages along with upgrades to currently installed packages. As we strive for an OEM style install on all our power packages that include but not limited to:
o -Bolt-On Upgrades.
o -Supercharging and Turbocharged Systems.
o -Heads and Cam Packages.
o -LSx and LTx short and long block assembly.
o -LSx and LTx valvetrain and cam geometry setup.
o -Installation of suspension and chassis upgrades.
o -Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
o -Familiar with proper motorsports wiring techniques.
o -Knowledge of aftermarket engine management systems and installation.
• Clean and organized individual that acts in a professional manner.
• Must be flexible and able to adjust to changing schedules (within reason)
• Must be familiar with late model GM platforms and be able to diagnose malfunctions, as well as perform the necessary repairs to them.
• Supercharging and/or forced induction experience a plus.
• Fabrication and welding skills not required but a benefit.
• The ability to determine if any safety or service work is needed or recommended.
• Highly motivated and ambitious.
• Able to think on the go and under high stress situations.
• Experienced in road and drag racing setups.
• Able to effectively communicate with supervisor and the ability to perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by shop manager.
Qualifications or Requirements
• 5 years’ experience as an Automotive Technician / Mechanic minimum.
• This is NOT an entry level position. Please be honest about your abilities and skills. We are looking for a good personality to go along with the skills.
• Advanced knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
• A valid driver’s license and own personal car for transportation to work.
• Must have own tools.
• General LSx and forced induction knowledge.

***Sales:

Ideal Candidate:

-Must be able to manage daily phone and email inquiries while maintaining a positive attitude and great customer service.
-Assist customers with shop or shipping status.
-Work with sales manager to implement sales and marketing strategies
-Website and Social media management skills a plus.
-Must have excellent communication skills phone and email, EXCEL, MS Word, Quickbooks.
-Good customer service skills to communicate with customers and keep them up to date.
-Be willing to grow, remember dress for the job you want not the job you have.
